Dynamic Runner App (sort of review)

This is sort of a review. I've not really done reviews so I'm not sure what to include, but here goes...

I spent way too much time trying to pick a workout that fit my time schedule (full-time on-line college takes up SO much time because it's ALL reading, plus the assignments. I feel like I'm just teaching myself all these new concepts because there's very little professor interaction. Ok, sorry, mini rant over).

Running is the easy part right now of trying to be healthy again. Don’t get me wrong, going through C25K (again) is hard because of how out of shape I am. BUT it's easier for me than trying to pick a good strength training routine. I like parts of everything I find!

I've used Melissa Alcantara and Sandy Sklar in the past, both from the Playbook app, with great success. I especially loved Melissa Alcantara's workouts but they are usually an hour long. There are other workouts I've used too but everything seems to take so much time.

Then I stumbled on Dynamic Runner on Instagram. After researching it, I decided to give it a try.  All I can say is that for me, in this time, it's perfect. I really love this app. You can do the workouts in the app or on their website. The longest one I've seen so far is about 30 minutes.

Use the app or website

They offer a 7 day trial and in conjunction with that, they offer a 7-day On Ramp series. This series was great because they give you a small taste off all the different programs they offer.

There are suggestions for combining the different workouts. I decided to alternate the Daily Stretching & Mobility with the Strength Training. I'm starting with their Two Week Burner workouts because they are at most 17 minutes long. I'm also working through the 7-day Ankle Strength & Rehab, with the longest workout being 15 minutes. So each day my workout or stretching is just a little over 30 minutes.

I'll update about this again in a few weeks on how I'm progressing.  There are areas that I think I am feeling a difference but I want to give it more time.
